ran the Bolder Boulder like I do every year. They changed the course this year adding a little more net uphill. Would've liked to break that pesky 38 minute barrier but the course just wouldn't cooperate. lost 10 seconds off last year, but I will attribute it to the course being 15 seconds harder!

Nice run! Nothing like a net UPHILL 10K at altitude! I just watched the webcast of the international team race... it must be awesome to finish in that stadium!

I would love to run that race someday.

Isn't that a really tough course? That sounds like a great time. Congratulations.Always nice to get faster with age hey?

Great job! Was Ryan Hall there?

FUN! I can't believe they could figure out how to make the course even harder, unless they started it running up Green Mountain.

Nice job Scott. Enjoy your trip.

Nice job! Sounds like you would have met your goal on last years course. Have a great trip.

way to go, scott! that's a great time for that (now tougher) tough course.

Thanks everyone! it is indeed a fun course and fun to finish in the stadium and then watch the other runners come in.

It is a pretty tough course, net 75 feet uphill now that they changed the course eliminating the initial downhill from Pearl Street. There are also lots of turns and some pretty decent hills. But with the wave starts you get the motivation of having a bunch of similar runners to run with so thatr offsets the difficulty a bit.

Burt- Ryan Hall was there, he ran the pro race that starts after all the citizen races are done. They have a team competition and the Ethiopians won again as every year. It was interesting to see that a local guy from Colorado won the citizens race with a time that was one second faster than Hall's time in the pro race! Shows the citizens race attracts some pretty decent runners.

Sounds like you had a fun time. Wish I could have been there. Almost everyone on my team ran slower times this year too. With the finish in Folsom Field, there wouldn't be much option for a fast course. Well, I guess they could go Des News style and start it up Flagstaff Road. Nah, I like it how it is.
