Spent the memorial day weekend in Boulder with my brother as we do every year. Culmination was running the Bolder Boulder. Ran a minute slower than last year but about what I expected. I don't think I run this race very smart, but I have yet to figure out how to run it smart. The middle section is just too hard with too many turns, hills, and too many people jostling for space. I ran out of AA this year instead of A which probably slowed me down a bit. Still managed to score third in the 50 year old age group. I get third every year. At least I am consistent.

Tried to find Aaron at the start but it was too crowded and  chaotic.

I think I am getting too old and tired for this 10K stuff especially a hard one like this.

nice job, scott. 10ks are tough, especially this one.

also, you're not old.

nice skills! you know you'll keep running this race - and probably even faster next time.

thanks Allie and JD! Allie, I don't feel old... until I get about 3 miles into a 10K! But I still LOOK like I am 25 right :-) redheads age slowly you know. that is the revenge we get for all the teasing we get growing up.

Yes, you are getting old. But you're still way fast! Great job!
